Exciting news is on the horizon, as Can-Am Electric Motorcycles is set to make their announcement next month

L&D Race Tech is thrilled to announce that Can-Am, a renowned name in the off-road vehicle industry, is set to launch two revolutionary electric motorcycles in 2024.

These models are currently under development and promise to deliver exceptional performance while maintaining a zero-emission footprint. The upcoming motorcycles will be available in both street and off-road variants, seamlessly integrating with Can-Am's existing electric vehicle lineup.

Can-Am recently released this video on their YouTube channel. "A look at the ideas, inspiration and innovations behind Can-Am’s first electric motorcycle. See how the team reimagined the brand’s legacy while building motorcycles for the future."

BRP Inc., the parent company of Can-Am, Ski-Doo, and Sea-Doo, is taking a significant leap forward with these innovative electric products. The Can-Am Origin and Can-Am Pulse, the first two models of the electric 2-wheel family, are set to redefine the motorcycle experience for a new generation of riders.

As the electric motorcycle market continues to expand, Can-Am is strategically positioning itself to capture a significant share of this burgeoning sector. The company's electric motorcycles are designed to cater to the recreational market, with one model tailored for off-road use and the other for on-road use. While pricing and specifications are yet to be announced, Can-Am assures they will be competitive with other electric motorcycles in the market.

In a nod to Can-Am's illustrious past, the Origin model pays tribute to the company's TnT (Track n’ Trail) heritage from the 70s to the late 80s. Can-Am's return to two-wheeled motorcycles with the Origin and Pulse signifies a revival of a cherished chapter in the company's history.

The shift to electric in the motorcycle industry has allowed Can-Am to reclaim its motorcycle heritage and re-enter the market. Introducing these electric motorcycles is a significant milestone for Can-Am and BRP, marking their first foray into the electric vehicle market.

The significance of these bikes extends beyond their electric capabilities. They return to Can-Am's two-wheeled motorcycle roots, blending nostalgia with modernity.

While full specifications will be released in August 2023, we know that the all-new Rotax E-POWER technology, capable of highway speeds and impressive horsepower and torque, will power both models. Each model will have its own unique design and purpose. The Origin is designed for both off-road trails and streets, while the Pulse is perfect for the everyday commuter.

Both bikes will feature a stunning design, state-of-the-art technology, and high-performance LED headlights. They are aimed at new riders looking to immerse themselves in the world of powersports. As electric vehicles, these bikes will offer a simplified riding experience, allowing riders to simply twist the throttle and go.

Stay tuned for more updates from L&D Race Tech as we bring you the latest powersports innovation.
